3M Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division (IATD) is seeking a Plant Engineering Manager to be based in Springfield, MO.

The Plant Engineering Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties:

* Provide leadership and management of Springfield's Plant Engineering Organization including maintenance, utilities, buildings and grounds, energy conservation and coordination of contract maintenance work.
* Develop and implement renewal plan for equipment and facilities to support business continuity.
* Serve as member of plant leadership team and work closely with division engineering to establish priorities.
* Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university
* Minimum of 1 year of experience leading large complex infrastructure projects such as utilities, buildings and grounds and/or energy conservation

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in plant supervisory and/or management role
* Resident, Division or Facilities Engineering experience preferred
* Black Belt Certification desired
* Experience leading cross-functional project teams
* Previous supervisory experience driving a team to achieve growth
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) skills.
* Demonstrated history of process excellence and process improvement implementation
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
* Experience in leading lean six sigma projects with large groups
* Strong training, coaching, and facilitation experience
