Job: Electrical Project Engineer

ATK Armament Systems (AS) is world's largest supplier of small-caliber ammunition for the military, law enforcement and shooting sports markets. We are a leader in medium caliber systems, advanced propellants and energetics, and tactical systems.

Electrical project engineer. Support projects and production related concerns as required. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, leading and managing engineering in, but not limited to, ATK; s subcomponents areas. These responsibilities include, but are not limited too; setting team priorities insuring Team/Project goals are met, interfacing with both internal and external customers, meeting cost per round goals systematic process improvement efforts, development and integration of new equipment and processes and the execution of new projects and supporting all modernization efforts.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and support electrical engineering staff

Manage daily production problems on a timely basis

Maintain project status and updates for engineering group

Be available for week end and after hour s problems

Multi-task and prioritize projects and daily production concerns.

Candidate Requirements:

* Requires a Bachelor s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Graduate degree preferred
* Requires a minimum of two years Allen-Bradley PLC programming with the ability to teach others
* Requires a minimum of two years experience troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of electrical control systems
* Requires the ability to estimate material, time, and labor requirements for projects
* Requires experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
* Requires experience leading or managing others
* Requires effective communication techniques
* Requires strong problem solving skills
* Requires a strong technical background
* Desired; experience with AutoCAD Electrical
