About the Business Line Architecture We help shape the world around us from high-rise buildings to educational, cultural, research and transportation facilities. Job Description AECOM is always seeking strong Architectural Designer professionals for future consideration. Please submit your resume if you are interested in being considered for any upcoming needs.

Responsibilities:

* Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
* Works under only general direction.
* Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Prepares designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and working drawings, develops details and edits specifications.
* Adapts and modifies design features and operational methods to meet a variety of situations.
Requirements:

* 5 - 8 years of experience.
* Licensed as a registered Architect, preferably in the state in which the office is located.
* Experience on all phases and aspects of moderate scale projects required.
* Sports facility design experience required.
* Intermediate knowledge of project design and construction documentation and construction materials.
* Intermediate knowledge of design production techniques including Revit (preferred) or AutoCAD, and effective communication skills required.
* Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills required.
* Basic knowledge of 3D computer modeling and graphic design preferred.
